CALVADOS -THE 3 APPELLATIONS

Normandy is divided into three zones, each producing apples of a different nature, giving rise to three “appellations d’origines contrôlées”. 

- Appellation "Calvados"
- Appellation "Calvados Pays d’Auge"
- Appellation "Calvados Domfrontais"


Appellation "Calvados" Contrôlée :
























- The apples come from a large part of Normandy
- Single distillation in a column still
- 74% of total Calvados production
